Jellyfish Costume

With Halloween just around the corner, my oldest daughter wanted to be a glowing jellyfish. I accepted the challenge of making the glowing headpiece for her and my wife to decorate. To make it glow I got a simple battery operated string of LED's off Amazon:

I had an issue with it not turning on when I first got the new lights but found the problem with one of the battery contacts:

A couple hits with a nail setter and it was operational:

I then put the battery pack at the crown of the hat with some strong double sided tape, arranged the lighting on top of the hat and attached a plastic bowl on top:

It is now ready for my daughter to decorate however she likes!
